What a swing shower door is
A swing (or pivot) door is a hinged glass panel mounted to a wall, to a fixed glass panel, or to a knee wall. Most are built from 3/8" or 1/2" tempered glass with heavy-duty hinges rated for the panel weight. Doors can be configured as a single door, a door with an inline panel, or a door between two returns.
Because the panel carries its own weight through the hinges, glass thickness and hinge selection matter. We size every swing door so it opens smoothly and stays aligned instead of drifting over time.
