What a glass railing system involves
We start with a site survey and template of the run, then specify the glass type and support method that meets code for that height and application. Panels are tempered or laminated, edges are polished, and the system is anchored into structural framing — never into finish material alone. Exterior and pool-deck railings use marine-grade stainless or powder-coated aluminum for salt-air resistance.

Base shoe (fully frameless)
Glass is set into a continuous aluminum shoe at the floor line for a clean, post-free run.
Standoff mounted
Polished stainless standoffs pin the glass to the stair stringer or slab edge — a lighter, more architectural look.
Post and clamp
Stainless or powder-coated posts with clamps. The most economical system and a good fit for long exterior runs.
Top-rail capped
A stainless or wood cap rail over the glass for added rigidity and a comfortable hand hold.
